If these bold beginnings are not appealing, don’t despair- as children grow, so too do their tastes, giving the consummate interior designer (or parent) an opportunity to experiment. Pirates and the high seas prove a popular choice with young boys and girls alike but trends, by nature, are fleeting and even more so when dictated by the whims of children. As colors fade mermaids and Jolly Rogers give way to Native American tepees and paper lanterns but bunting is eternal.
