Master Builder Markus Voglreiter who earlier designed the “Auto Residence” decided to build a bigger and sportier structure in the form of a restaurant and bar called “The Car. Das Auto”. Located north of Salzburg, Austria, the Volkswagen Beetle inspired restaurant cost approximately €1.6 million to build and was completed in 2007.

The interior design is contemporary, and there is also an outdoor patio seating area for locals and tourists to soak up the atmosphere of this cool restaurant.
